Navigation award for HAL Trainee Deck Cadet

The 19th June saw the annual 'Cadet Passing Out' ceremony take place at the Southampton Guildhall for the 2007 intake of Warsash Maritime Academy Trainee Officers.

During the event Holland America Line Deck Cadet, Thomas Feakins was awarded the 'John Milner prize for Navigation' and is pictured here accepted the award from Group Captain David Barnes, President of the Royal Institute of Navigation (RIN).

Along with the award, Thomas gained a cheque for £100 and a 3-year guest memebership of the RIN.
